Marketing Collaterals

FREE

Marketing collaterals are the collection of various communication items used to assist in sales and promotion activities. The purpose of this communication material should be to provide right information about the company and its products or services.

This material can be in the form of:

  • Brochure and other printed product information
  • Visual aids used in sales presentations
  • Catalogs
  • Leaflets
  • Danglers
  • Presentations
  • Films, video clips
  • Web sites
  • Production data sheets and comparison charts
  • Sales scripts
  • Demonstration scripts
  • Elevator pitch scripts
  • Telemarketing scripts
  • Price lists
  • Business cards
  • Letterheads
  • Customer Testimonials
  • Sales email drafts etc. etc.

Guidelines for Managing Marketing Collaterals

  • The company should have ready availability of the appropriate marketing collateral which can be given to any prospect.
  • Somebody must be given the responsibility to manage these collaterals.
  • The vendors of these articles must be fixed such that they can produce them at short notice, if required.
  • The content of each type of collateral must be kept updated. As soon as some changes in the product related details or contact information happen, they must be promptly and appropriately changed in all the collaterals.
  • The spellings and contact details mentioned must be correct.

Soft copies of these documents must also be kept ready for making them available for sending by email etc.
