HOW TO SOLVE THE MARKETING JIGSAW PUZZLE?

Solving the Marketing Jigsaw Puzzle

  • The 4Ps of products marketing and 7Ps of services marketing represent the factors which must be balanced properly to have the right marketing mix.
  • Achieving the perfect combination of the factors is the puzzle that needs to be solved.
  • The company must design each factor very carefully such that it aligns with the other factors.
  • Successful marketing involves the perfect blend of all the factors involved.
  • We shouldn’t copy any one factor from other company’s product or service and simply apply it to our product or service without proper consideration or adaptation.
  • The 4Ps or 7Ps should be designed keeping our customer in mind in such a way that
    • The product or service satisfies the customer’s expressed or hidden needs and wants.
    • Its communication reaches the right target customer in the right manner.
    • The product or service is conveniently available to the customer at the right price.
    • The customer finds the optimum value for money spent on buying the product or service.
  • When the objectives of the company in making the product or service and the objectives of the customer in buying it are served satisfactorily, the marketing Jigsaw puzzle is properly solved.
