Understand the difficulties of your people.

Understand the difficulties of your people.
One afternoon, while walking around in his company, an owner found an employee sleeping in his chair. The boss lost his temper. He fired the person in front of all, shouting and screaming at him: “Am I paying you to come and sleep here? You’ll just want to enjoy your time here and not work… etc. etc.”
The employee was embarrassed. The boss left in anger, but all the other members around there got upset.
They knew that a family member of the employee in question was admitted to the hospital. He had to attend to the ailing relative at the hospital at night, so he could not sleep properly. Due to that, he dozed off involuntarily in the afternoon. The boss was oblivious to the matter which was known to the coworkers.
If we find an otherwise diligent and efficient employee upset or behaving differently, we should speak to him alone and find out the reason.
By getting angry and screaming in front of the other staff members will upset the entire team. They would think “Our boss does not care about the difficulties of our life. He is not concerned about us.”
